Community Impact at Bell
At Bell & Company, community involvement isn’t decided in a boardroom.
Instead, it grows out of conversations and causes that have shaped the people behind our work. Through our Community Service Committee, Bell team members are empowered to nominate and select the nonprofit organizations we support each year, ensuring our giving reflects what matters most to those who serve our clients and communities every day.
Across the firm, staff bring different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to the table. The committee creates space to turn those lived experiences into meaningful action — supporting organizations that align not only with Bell’s mission, but with the values of our people.
In 2025, our team selected a group of nonprofits whose missions span advocacy, outreach, faith-based service, and long-term community development. While each organization serves a different purpose, they share a common thread: practical, hands-on work that strengthens individuals, families, and communities.
One of those organizations, The Station at Damascus, was selected because of a personal connection shared by a team member who grew up in the Damascus area. Staff recognized the role The Station plays as a gathering place and resource for the community, as well as the long-term impact of supporting its building fund — helping position the organization for future grants and continued growth.
That focus on sustainability reflects Bell’s belief in stewardship: investing in organizations that are building something lasting, not just meeting immediate needs.
Another organization chosen by staff, Grandma's House Children's Advocacy, reflects a shared commitment to protecting vulnerable children. Team members were drawn to the organization’s mission to provide a safe, supportive environment for children who have experienced abuse, particularly at a time when the need for advocacy and coordinated care continues to grow.
Supporting organizations like Grandma’s House aligns closely with Bell’s commitment to public trust, compassion, and responsibility — values that guide both our professional work and our community involvement.
Staff perspectives also extended beyond local communities. The selection of Baptist Missionary Association of America was influenced by a team member’s firsthand experience serving on an international mission trip. That experience highlighted the organization’s impact in providing resources, education, and support to communities facing significant challenges.
This selection reflects a shared understanding that meaningful service isn’t limited by geography — and that impact can be both local and global.
Closer to home, staff identified a growing need for direct outreach to individuals experiencing homelessness. Their support of The One / The Van reflects appreciation for the organization’s hands-on approach, delivering care and resources directly to people where they are.
That model mirrors Bell’s own philosophy: meeting people with dignity, offering practical solutions, and responding to real needs in real time.
Make it stand out
Finally, the committee selected CASA of North Arkansas, an organization whose one-to-one advocacy model strongly resonated with staff. Team members recognized the powerful role a single advocate can play in helping children navigate complex systems during critical moments.
That role — standing in the gap, providing guidance, and advocating for the best possible outcome — closely parallels Bell’s work as trusted advisors to our clients.
What makes Bell’s Community Service Committee unique isn’t just the organizations we support, but the way those decisions are made. By empowering our people to lead our giving, we ensure our community involvement remains thoughtful, authentic, and grounded in real experiences.
Through this process, our team is reminded that community impact is strongest when it’s shared — shaped by the people who live and work in the communities we serve.
