At Bell & Company, we look for talented individuals from entry-level degreed accountants who are actively working toward the designation of CPA, ideally may already be a CPA, to experienced professionals ready to take the next step in their career.  We strive to provide opportunities at every level in a challenging work environment with people who care about you personally and professionally.

  • Summary: Performs a variety of complex, professional accounting tasks in maintaining accounting records and preparing financial reports, operating statements, bookkeeping, and taxes for the clients of Bell & Company.

    • Manage client contacts; evaluate needs and identify opportunities for added service

    • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of individual, partnership, corporate, and other income tax areas by preparing returns using Ultratax

    • Prepare quarterly 941 payroll tax reports

    • Act as the second reviewer for tax returns prepared by Staff Accountants

    • Work with 3rd parties to obtain information necessary to complete tax returns and other projects

    • Train new employees and be of assistance to team members

    • Maintain various logs in Excel

    • Perform bookkeeping duties using Quickbooks.

    • Audit and attest duties; use Engagement software

    The qualified candidate will have a CPA + 5 years of experience in public accounting, strong written and oral communication skills, be proficient in Quickbooks, has excellent organizational and time management skills, and can work independently or as part of a team.
